BARKLY SMOKEHOUSE

Barkly Smokehouse is the home of Grandmother Ham and beautifully flavoured European smallgoods. Their range includes traditionally made hams, sausages, presswurst, kransky and more, carefully smoked over specially selected German beechwood to create their distinctive flavour.

Originating in the 1950's, when Polish immigrants started producing traditional European smallgoods for delicatessens throughout Melbourne. They also sold their products from a shop on Barkly Street in Footscray—the inspiration behind the Barkly Smokehouse name.

Their success comes from a continued commitment to producing high-quality, exceptional-tasting smallgoods using traditional European recipes and 100% Australian pork. An experienced team has taken great pride in preserving these time-honoured traditions and bringing authentic European flavours to Australian tables.
